Hello all. A very BIG Hello!!!

Obviously I couldn't make it ( i.e. 100 drawings) before the end of the year. But I am happy with what I have got done. I will try to complete 100 as and when I get inspiration, one at a time. Last month has been very hectic in my life, some good events, some things that just need to be done and some family related issues like ill health of elderly people. But all is fine now. December was more socially active than rest of the 11 months together.

I was actually thinking that not much is done this year but when I looked at my diary, I realised it is not true. I have grown spiritually and have exposed myself to a lot of new things, concepts and practises. It was more spiritual year than ever, and I think I will continue on this path this year. I have more courage and I am more ready to take responsibility.

What will be your path this year? What experiences would you seek? What you seek you get.

Wish you all a very meaningful and satisfying New Year 2018.

Hi , how are you today?

I first made the cats and then worked around them. They look almost collaged. Hope you like it.
Thanks

Hello all.
I am planning to finish 100 drawings before the end of the year. Let's see if I can do that. Well I think I am almost there.
In initial days after Buddha's nirvana, he was not depicted in human form in wall paintings or sculptures. He was represented by symbols. I just like this vacant negative space that says peace, annihilation, sublimation. Thanks

This one is inspired by the Zebra one. For a long time I have been feeling uninspired. Then I started cleaning my art room which is always in a state of a mess. I have even got hurt while walking in there. Okey. But while I clean it I always find  unexpected things and objects that I thought are lost. It is a treasure hunt and I get new ideas for painting. This tiger comes from travel brochures that I had kept for some reason. Isn't he royal?

My other blog is https://manjireemanolkar.blogspot.in

Thanks.
